I’m SVP of New Products and a member of the Executive Team at Mozilla. I lead an organization focused on building new applications and services that support our mission and align with our values.
Previously I led early-stage incubations as Head of Product at NPE, Meta’s experimental product group. After that I was part of the product leadership team for Messenger and Instagram Direct, where I worked on large-scale, cross-functional product challenges, including monetization.
Before joining Meta, I was a Founding Partner at Betaworks Ventures, a pre-seed and seed stage fund. Investments I helped lead include Rec Room, Hugging Face, Bunch, 8th Wall (acquired by Niantic), Squad (acquired by Twitter), Campus, and Streem (acquired by Frontdoor).
Earlier in my career I built several startups, including Gizmodo/Gawker Media, Engadget/Weblogs Inc (acquired by AOL in 2005), RCRD LBL (in partnership with Downtown Music), and gdgt (acquired by AOL in 2013). Prior to starting Betaworks Ventures, I served as VP of Strategy at AOL and Co-Director of AOL Alpha, the company’s experimental product group.
